The Madonna Fiumarola is a 16th-century wooden statue, venerated as the protector of Trastevere and its inhabitants, and the protagonist of the Festa de Noantri in Rome. According to tradition, it was found by fishermen at the mouth of the Tiber in 1535. Every year, at the end of July, it is carried in procession along the Tiber to Ponte Garibaldi. The name "Fiumarola" derives from its discovery in the waters of the Tiber.
