THE POWER OF A SMILE

Art as a tool to celebrate doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and administrative staff: women and men who daily are protagonists and witnesses of care and humanity. This is the goal of the photography exhibition entitled The Strength of a Smile, inaugurated today at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico.
The result of a collaboration with Fujifilm Healthcare Italia, the exhibition is a journey through the faces of the professionals at the Trigoria University Hospital, a tribute to their professionalism and the humanity that has guided their mission since its inception, as emphasized by the Foundation's President Carlo Tosti:
"We have always firmly believed in a science for humanity, in which care, research, and innovation are at the service of the individual. This aspiration could not be achieved without the fundamental contribution of each of our colleagues. Our heartfelt thanks go to each of them for the passion and dedication they always show when caring for others, and this exhibition also serves to demonstrate this."
The shots by photographer Max Angeloni, who shot the retrospective, capture with naturalness and spontaneity the professionals at the Policlinico Campus Bio-Medico, smiling as they carry out their work of caring for the sick and vulnerable.
The photographic project aims to shine a spotlight on the more human aspects of those who care for hundreds of people every day, recounting their tireless commitment.
