Baptism of Jesus, Miracle of walking on water.
Aqua is, in chronological order, the fifth work based on historical re-enactment and the fourth concerning the life of Jesus, as told in the Gospels.
Specifically, AQUA tells of two events in the life of Jesus linked, precisely, to water.
The miracle of walking on the waters of Lake Tiberias and the baptism in the River Jordan.
We identified the perfect setting in Trevignano, a town on the splendid Lake Bracciano a few kilometers from Rome.
The very closeness of the location allowed us to take all the shots in a single photo session.
Yes planning. Arriving ready and with clear ideas on set allowed us to prepare the most suitable costumes in advance, decide what lighting to use, and have a precise idea of how to create the photographs, including the miracle of making a person walk on water without resorting to computer graphics.
AQUA went on to enrich an exhibition, printed in large format, in continuous evolution.
